Generally, the process is completed within a four (4) week period, excluding the assessment visit. I am diligent about the training process, scheduling visits no less than 7 days and no more than 10 days apart as a rule. This prevents stalling during the process and maintains momentum in both human and canine. The spacing of visits allows both dog and human to process the changes that are being made to routines as well as absorb and practice the new concepts being presented. I will customize a schedule when dealing with young puppies, the elderly dog or dogs with cognitive/physical challenges in order to best serve the canine. Ultimately, I use the dog's responses to guide me in altering the set schedule if necessary. If you are a shift worker or experience periods of time when you are unavailable a schedule can be customized to your situation. I expect all training packages to be completed within 60 days unless extenuating circumstances occur.
